Full Road Rehabilitation

Stabilised Pavements of Australia offers additional services e.g. Full Road Reconstruction, which do not necessarily involve stabilisation. The following services are available:

  • Profiling, removal and tipping (or reuse) of the old base course
  • Treatment of the subgrade
  • Removal and replacement of the subgrade
  • Placement of new gravels - often material milled elsewhere (such as RAP) can provide a sound base layer
  • Installation of drainage, whether pipes or table drains
  • Kerb and gutter
  • Footpaths
  • Laying of a wearing course (AC or spray seal)
  • Painting of lines
  • Erection of road furniture such as signs, guideposts and fences
  • Landscaping

Full road reconstruction has been carried out by Stabilised Pavements of Australia for many clients in the past, and demand for it is increasing. Reasons for the high interest in Full Road Reconstruction include:

  • The client can leave the organising up to Stabilised Pavements of Australia and turn a failed pavement into a new sealed road.
  • The client may not have available crew to undertake the work
  • To carry out full service stabilisation in addition to other remedial works can mean the 'doubling-up' of machinery. Full Road Reconstruction by Stabilised Pavements of Australia avoids this, reducing costs

Stabilised Pavements of Australia has the resources, equipment and know how enabling us to carry out any requirement in the construction or rehabilitation of road pavements.
