Enclosed Integrated Spreading System
Occasionally,
the dust resulting from the spreading of dry binder is a nuisance that may
need to be avoided. Whilst Stabilised Pavements' conventional
spreaders are specifically designed
to be "low-dust" units suitable for most rural and urban applications, where
dust is a particularly sensitive issue this work can be carried out
utilising our Enclosed Integrated Spreader System.
The Wirtgen WR2500K Mark II stabilisation machines feed the
dry additive directly into the mixing chamber of the reclaimer/stabiliser,
reducing the possibility of any additive becoming airborne.
The advantages of using this process include:
Quality
Completely automated
system.
Monitored via load cells linked to forward speed.
Segmental cut-offs above the spreader vane.
Accurate addition of powdered binders.
Environment
Dusting from
additive is significantly reduced.
Safety
SPA's Supply Tanker
is a certified pressure vessel.
Reduced dust means reduced traffic dangers.
Production
No additive mat
exposed to conditions means that work can proceed in inclement weather.
Foamed Bitumen
World's only
simultaneous addition of bitumen and dry supplementary additives.
