Tom Wilmot
Tom has over 35 years experience in the stabilisation industry. He has been deeply involved in the development of pavement recycling in Australia and Asia. He was active in the development and application of foamed bitumen for road stabilisation and many other stabilisation products including slag, flyash blends and Dry Powder Polymer stabilisers as well as the progress and development of cement and lime recycling.

Tom is active in seminars and workshops with ARRB, AustStab and other organisations, including R & D work in deep lift stabilisation with the RTA. He has studied stabilisation techniques in Europe, USA and Asia and is involved in the development of stabilisation and Road rehabilitation processes in Australia UK and Asia. Contact

Warren Smith
Warren has over 35 years experience in pavement design and construction. For the last 30 years Warren has worked specifically in the stabilisation and rehabilitation industry being involved in both insitu and pugmill work. As such he has been involved in the development of the different methods and procedures of stabilised pavement design and construction in many varied situations throughout Australia and overseas. He has had a significant input in the ongoing introduction of new technologies in both stabilisation equipment and additive fields.

Warren is now one of Australia's most experienced and well versed Engineers in the fields of stabilisation and road rehabilitation and as such is frequently involved in seminars and workshops with State and Local Government Authorities, Consultants and other interested groups throughout Australia and other parts of the World including Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim.

Warren has been in the forefront of communicating the environmental benefits of using stabilisation techniques especially for recycling works. Contact

David Berg
David Berg is a highly experienced stabilisation Manager, responsible for management of in excess of 20 stabilisation crews operating in a wide range of stabilisation and recycling projects. He has an excellent knowledge of the capabilities of different forms of equipment and has been responsible for the introduction of the Quality Assurance system for large highway rehabilitation projects. Daniel Orriss

 Daniel is a qualified civil engineer who has over 4 years experience in stabilisation industry. His experience includes operations and contract management for various local government and Qld Main Roads projects. Andrew Middleton
  Andrew has ten years experience in the stabilisation industry. In this time, during which he has been employed by SPA, he has gained invaluable experience by working through the ranks as an Operator, Foreman, Supervisor and eventually gaining his Engineering qualifications. Sacha Hilbrink
  Sacha joined SPA after extensive experience in Local Government in such varying fields as asset management, maintenance and construction. He has broad understanding of insitu stabilisation, road rehabilitation and project management of civil construction works. Sacha has been involved in developing safe operating procedures, promoting OH&S, and has a good knowledge of pavement design. With over 4 years now working for SPA, Sacha has gained excellent experience in contract management, quality assurance, and a sound technical knowledge of stabilising principles. Contact

Jason Parrish

Ross Gee
Ross Gee is a very experienced Field Supervisor. He has wide and varied experience in the different types of insitu stabilisation and rehabilitation works. He is well versed in the management of foremen and operators, procedural techniques and the correct and safe operation of various items of equipment. Mark Truelsen
Mark has over 10 years experience in a variety of machine operations, and retail/management within the transport and construction industry. He started with SPA as an operator, moving into profiling as a supervisor and then into stabilising in a similar role. Darren Gearing
  Darren has extensive operational and management experience in the road construction, mining and civil engineering industries. Darren has successfully managed businesses specialising in road surfacing and reconstruction, and has developed excellent relationships with state road authorities, local councils, contractors and suppliers.

A qualified civil engineer, Darren has over 10 years post graduate experience and has spent significant time in hands on roles assisting in field operations. He is a very competent business manager and is adept at meeting customer requirements. Darren also has an excellent knowledge of OHSE and quality requirements.

Harry Gracey
  Harry joined SPA in 1999 with over thirty years experience in the civil engineering industry. Harry has concentrated his career in civil construction, commencing in the United Kingdom and Dubai and has been working in Australia for twenty years.

Steve Hey
  Steve has had extensive background in foamed bitumen stabilisation and cement and lime stabilisation in the UK and in South Africa prior to coming to Australia. In Australia he has had a broad experience of foamed bitumen stabilisation and the development of the process and in more recent years has been the Manager of Highway Stabilisers which operates in Victoria and South Australia. Juri Bruns
 
Qualified Civil Engineer with extensive operational and management experience in the civil construction industry, predominantly in road works with expertise in soil stabilization and pavement recycling. This includes contract administration, planning, estimating and tendering for projects in the Local / State Government and private business sectors. Back ground also includes management and operation of self owned pavement investigation, testing and design consultancy and road construction businesses for a period of 10 years prior to joining SPA in April 2009.
