Accreditation of Stabilisation Contractors

To obtain the best results from stabilisation it is essential that the work be carried out in a technically correct manner with purpose built equipment which is operated by experienced, qualified operators, while at the same time ensuring that depth, spread rates and mixing quality are being controlled by an experienced supervisor.

AustStab, the national stabilisation industry association, has introduced a national accreditation scheme open to all stabilisation contractors, members or otherwise. This scheme is receiving strong support from councils and state road authorities. By using an AustStab accredited contractor you are ensured of having the work completed by experienced and proficient personnel. AustStab recommends that all stabilisation tenders should call for fully accredited contractors.

SPA, as well as being an accredited AustStab contractor, is prequalified with the state road authorities for highway contracts in Queensland (R2), NSW (R2) and Victoria (R1).

For any further enquiries on SPA's accreditation please contact your local SPA manager.
